The last version of Internet Explorer 6 was called Service Pack 1 forInternet Explorer 6 and was released in December of 2004. As of Feb 12th, 2008 Microsoft is forcingupdates to Internet Explorer 6 in order to move people towards the muchimproved and secure version 7.
