Archeologists surveying Shadiakh and ancient Neishabour Castle discovered the first lion and sun emblem at the ancient site, director of the castle’s research base said. TEHRAN, April 15 (MNA) -- Iran and Portugal have come to an agreement in the restoration of southern Iran’s Portuguese castles. The agreement was negotiated by Portuguese Ambassador to Tehran José Manuel da Costa Arsénio and deputy director of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, tourism and Handicrafts Organization (CHTHO) Fariborz Dowlatabadi during a session on Tuesday.

Persian manuscripts to go on display in Armenia

An exhibition of Persian manuscripts will be opened at the Scientific Research Institute of Old Manuscripts of Matenadaran in Yerevan from April 14 to 20.
